DipJar Pro
DipJar Pro is a next-generation cashless fundraising solution designed in collaboration with DipJar to enhance portability, user interaction, and support modern payment methods.
OBJECTIVES
Our primary objective was to design a portable, user-friendly device that evolved from the original DipJar, incorporating new features such as multi-payment method support, extended battery life, and enhanced user interaction. The challenge was to preserve the familiar "jar" profile while adding modern functionality.
OUTCOMES
The DipJar Pro’s redesign has significantly improved the fundraising experience. It offers users an intuitive touch screen interface, customizable donation amounts, and improved user feedback through sound and LED lighting. The result is a portable, innovative device that meets the evolving needs of donors and fundraising organizations, all while maintaining the recognizable DipJar brand identity.
Industrial Design and Concept Exploration
We began the design process by exploring various concepts that would evolve the iconic DipJar shape while integrating the necessary new features. Through extensive sketching and iterative refinement, we developed a design that met the client’s vision for a portable and user-friendly fundraising tool.
User Interface and Experience Design
Unlike its predecessor, DipJar Pro introduced a more dynamic interface. Our team designed an interactive touch screen that allowed users to select their donation amount, enhancing the donor experience. We also incorporated engaging feedback mechanisms, such as customizable LED lighting and sound, to enrich user interactions during transactions.
Prototyping and Testing
Our team produced multiple high-quality prototypes, including fully functional beta units. These prototypes allowed us to test the device in real-world scenarios, ensuring that it performed flawlessly and met all design objectives before final production.
From assembly to labeling, every detail of DipJar Pro’s design was meticulously planned. We ensured a seamless, user-centric experience, focusing on the device’s portability, ease of use, and integration with modern payment systems.
