Instead of solely developing for clients, we took on the challenge of creating and launching our own product. We've developed KHIO—a digital cooling headband for migraine relief—through research, testing, and refinement, showcasing our ability to innovate and bring a product to market.

OBJECTIVES:
Our goal was to take a concept for migraine relief and turn it into a fully realized product that meets the needs of migraine sufferers. We aimed to design a functional, user-friendly device while also creating a compelling brand identity and providing the full spectrum of support to bring KHIO to market.

OUTCOMES:
The KHIO digital cooling headband is now fully developed, offering users a non-invasive, drug-free solution for migraine relief. Beyond product design and engineering, we’ve built a cohesive brand that resonates with our target audience.

Product Design and Engineering

Our team led the industrial design, engineering, and manufacturing processes. We focused on creating a device that is not only effective for migraine relief but also comfortable and easy to use. Iterative development, prototyping, and rigorous testing have ensured that KHIO meets the highest standards of quality and user satisfaction.

Branding and Packaging

We developed the KHIO brand from scratch, creating a modern, approachable identity that reflects the product’s innovative nature. The packaging design highlights the device’s key benefits and enhances the overall customer experience by providing clear instructions and visually appealing materials.

Website and Digital Presence

The KHIO website was designed to be an informative and engaging platform for potential customers. Built with a focus on user experience, the site provides easy navigation through product details, customer testimonials, and a seamless e-commerce system. We’ve also supported KHIO’s online presence through social media and targeted digital marketing campaigns.

UI/UX Design and Development

We designed and developed the KHIO app in-house, providing users with a seamless connection to their device. The app allows users to control the device's settings, track usage, and log migraine relief sessions. Our team handled the full UI/UX design, ensuring that the app was intuitive, easy to navigate, and aligned with KHIO’s brand identity. The app also features a note-taking diary that helps users track their symptoms and progress.

Mulitmedia Support

Throughout KHIO’s journey, we captured its development through multiple product photoshoots, showcasing each stage from prototype to final design. Our team also produced engaging videos for marketing and fundraising, alongside detailed 3D animations that demonstrate how KHIO works. This visual storytelling has been integral to building excitement around the product and conveying its impact.
